I know it may sound weird, but I have met some people who are afraid to swing just because they worry about how other people — also known as the general population, although I don’t really agree with the term — think or say about them. I’m not saying that worrying about such things is wrong, but I always think that if your friends and family really appreciate you they will completely understand, or at least try to understand and respect your options, no matter what kind of lifestyle you are in to.

Swinging has been a social issue for quite some time indeed. Thanks to the growing number of swingers willing to openly talk about this lifestyle, followed by swinging clubs and parties appearing in almost every part of the world, swinging can be generally accepted as a lifestyle enjoyed by many people. Cons are still there, but they exist in almost every other cultural aspect and they are nothing to be worried about. In fact, swinging has been quite popular the past several years. More swinger sites and communities are growing, and people are starting to feel secure about swinging and talking openly about it. You must notice how easy it is to find information and resources about swinging as well as finding partners through personal ads or event invitation these days; these are clear signs that the lifestyle is growing towards maturity and it is accepted by more people than before.

No matter what society think about swinging, I always think that you should make decisions based on what works for you. If you think you will enjoy swinging very much — plus your spouse supports you on that thought — then you should simply go for it and embrace the lifestyle. Other people will understand your decision completely.
